Back

I am back in Toronto after spending almost a month and a half in Calgary. I photographed a group of skinheads in Calgary called WEB (Western European Bloodlines.)

I had a very interesting time, made some photos that I was happy with and enjoyed being back on the prairies.

Jimmy Shoots!

The first time I met Jimmy Jeong he jokingly (I think- actually probably not) credited me as being half a photographer in a media room full of shooters waiting to cover a CFL game in Edmonton.

This was during my student placement at the Edmonton Sun and I probably was only half a photographer (some would say I still am- and they are probably right.)

Even though I was “half of a photographer” I was the only person covering the game to get the winning touchdown pass with seven seconds left in the game, (which was a fluke.)

“Not bad for half of a photographer- hey Jimmy?”

Jimmy has become a good friend over the years and he has recently launched a new site- Jimmy Shoots.

He has also recently left Epic Photography in Edmonton and is freelancing in Edmonton.
