Fast times at Wedding High

without comments

As I mentioned in my previous wedding post, I am working on increasing and growing my wedding business. I am hoping to book and shoot more weddings. I am learning about promotion, seo, advertising, pricing and all the fun stuff related to creating a wedding business.

This weekend I put together a simple website over the weekend to help get my name on the map, while my main site is under construction. You can check it out here- Brett Gundlock- Toronto Wedding Photography.

I have also teamed up with a few photographers in the area to help create BlueSix Creative. It is a collection of Wedding Photographers covering the GTA. It is great to pull from the other guy’s knowledge and hopefully it will help me build my business.

I still have a lot to learn, but it is not so bad when you actually enjoy it.

Terry+Miranda- Whitby Centennial Building Wedding

without comments

I shot my first wedding of the year with the great Dan Devau, (www.lifeinaflash.com) on Friday and the Whitby Centennial Building.

Terry and Miranda were a fun easy going couple, a pleasure to work with and photograph.

I am getting more serious with wedding photography this year, hoping to shoot more. I really enjoy shooting weddings and working with great, open minded couples. It is an outlet for my photography that allows me to flex my creative muscles away from work.

Dan and I are working together on a project that will help me jump into the Toronto wedding photography market, stay tuned.
